Over the past few weeks Batman fans have been been super excited about the release of the new film "The Dark Knight Rises". Well last night a group of movie goers got more then what they bargained for in a Colorado movie theater.
Reports are that a gunman opened fire in the theater during last nights premiere. While wearing a gas mask reports state he let off tear gas and begin shooting while walking up the theater stairs. The shooting is reported to kill 12 and leave 38 others injured. The saddest part of the story is that CNN is reporting the injury of a 3 month old baby. Moviegoers were shocked stating they thought the shooting and thick smoke was an effect for the movie.
As of now, the suspect has been identifies as 24-year-old James Holmes

This is a really sad story and I pray for those families affected by this tragedy. I think it's sad when people have to be worried about not making it out of a movie theater.
